FCA REALTIME 2022

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

The beginning of this month took our local FCA staff and some of our spouses to San Antonio, TX. We attended FCA Realtime 2022, where we experienced four days of fellowship and fun along with a wonderful message of renewing and refreshing of faith! We were able to experience a taste of Revelation 7, where every tribe and nation are together singing praises, as we had FCA staff from 40 countries in attendance. There were over 2,100 FCA staff and spouses gathered together!

Through impactful testimonies, relevant teaching, awesome worship, powerful prayer, and a constant moving of the Holy Spirit, the Lord affirmed our calling to the ministry and we were blown away to hear all that He is doing around the world!

During Realtime 2022, we learned new methods and exciting plans on how to minister to EVERY person. We continued to lean into the FCA mission (to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church) and vision (to see the world transformed by Jesus) with the constant reminder that our method is discipleship. We are to be disciples who make disciples.

What an exciting time to be part of the family of ministers that are the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

2,314 field staff, 105 countries, 697 camps, 57,613 campers, 208,624 bibles distributed, 16,838 faith decisions,

2 MILLION reached for Christ.

The Three E's
Engage - Equip - Empower

As FCA matures, we seek to make disciples through our methods of engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same.

ENGAGE

We engage coaches and athletes through genuine relationships sharing our lives and the gospel.
1 Thessalonians 2:8

EQUIP

We equip coaches and athletes to grow in Christ through God's Word.
Ephesians 4:12

EMPOWER

We empower coaches and athletes to engage and equip others to know and grow in Christ.
2 Timothy 2:2

STRATEGY - To and Through the Coach

We pursue our vision and mission through the strategy of to and through the coach. We seek ministry first to coaches hearts, marriages and families. Then, when ready, we minister through coaches to their fellow coaches, teams and athlete leaders.

Billy Graham said, "A coach will impact more people in one year than an average person will in an entire lifetime." With the influence of a coach, FCA recognizes the most strategic way to reach more athletes is to first reach the coach.
