FCA IMPACT - EMPOWER

Two years ago we had a young man join the MTSU FCA Huddle named Keita Isaji. Keita served the MTSU Baseball Team as their athletic trainer. Keita was an extremely hard worker and took pride in everything he did. Keita was like a lot of us by trying to do to much on his own power and in his own strength. After some personal struggles and losses through the death of his grandfather and his closest friend, Keita hit an all time low. Drew Shea, Head Trainer at MTSU and member of our FCA Leadership Board, reached out to Keita during this season and both of them agreed he needed some help. Over the next 12 months God used several people to encourage Keita and to speak truth to him. These truths and testimonies brought him back to his personal relationship with Jesus and the church. Keita said "he was so thankful that God lead him to MTSU and to the ministry of FCA and to Drew Shea and the staff of FCA." Upon graduation Keita was offered a job with the Philadelphia Phillies and moved to Clearwater Beach Florida. Once COVID-19 shut baseball down Keita moved back to Murfreesboro. Keita is now having to return to Japan for a short season (hopefully) and later return to the United States once he secures another job as a baseball trainer. Pictured is a group of FCA Staff, Volunteers and Leadership Board Members praying over Keita and encouraging him to take the Good News of Jesus Christ back to Japan to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through his influence and testimony.
